Borick, 90, died July 11 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA. She was born on November 27, 1915, a daughter of Harry and Justina Comara Kriel. She married Walter Borick on June 18, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1978. Together they managed a lingerie manufacturing operation in Dushore for many years. She is survived by her son, Dr. Ronald Borick of Elk Grove and her daughter, Beverly Harader, of Eagles Mere and Bellefonte. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, Dr. Steven Borick, Matthew (Erin) Borick, Esq., Tracey (Jack) Galloway and Dr. Kelly D'Orazio; six great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother, John Kriel and wife, Julia of Dallas, PA, her sister Nettie Jaworski and husband Frank of Silver Spring, MD, as well as sister-in-laws, Ruth Kriel of Elmira, NY and Helen Kriel of White Haven, PA. She was predeceased by brothers, Michael, Peter and Steve and by one sister, Mary Hurray. Burial Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 12:00 noon at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, Lopez, PA with Hieromonk, Michael Thier, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Lopez, PA. Friends may call on Friday, July 14, at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. There will be a Parastas Service on Friday evening at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
