Olmstead, age 63, of Lime Hill, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, October 20, 2010 at her home with her loving family at her side. Diane was born November 26, 1946 one of nine children of the late Clifford T. & Arlene B. Johnson Vanderpoel. She graduated from high school and attended two years of college. She married Danny Olmstead on April 18, 1981 and they recently celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. Diane worked for many years in the Dress manufacturing business; she worked for A.J. Dress of Standing Stone and was the floor lady for Meshoppen Dress Mfg. Co. for 18 years. She was last employed as a waitress at Bob’s Restaurant in Wyalusing, PA. Diane enjoyed sewing and shopping and especially in crafts, making many wonderful pieces for her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Barry R. Ballard, pastor of the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery.
