Jim was born in Blakely, PA on September 12, 1928 the son of the late James Ritson Wilson Sr. and Irene Lloyd Wilson. He attended school in Philadelphia and graduated from the Clarks Summit High School, in Clarks Summit, PA. He attended Blair Academy, in Blairstown , NJ and graduated from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and the track team. Jim served as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He married the former Ruth Y. Eisenach of Montreal, Quebec in 1963. He retired from the American Bank Note Company in N.Y.C as a vice-president and senior sales manager after many years of service. Jim was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church. He also attended the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church for 40 years in Pluckemin, NJ and also attended the Peacack-Gladstone Episcopal Church in Peacack-Gladstone, NJ and in the summer, St. John's-in-the-Wilderness Episcopal Church and the Eagles Mere Community Church in Eagles Mere and was a member of the Eagles Mere Country Club. Surviving: Spouse: Ruth at home Son and daughter-in-law: J. Blair & Crystal Wilson Ward, CO Sister and brother-in-law: Joan & James Jennewein Tampa, FL Grandsons: Skyler and Kai Wilson of Ward, CO Twin sister-in-law: Anne Marie (John) Hayley, of Union City, CA 4 nieces and nephews and 11 grandnieces and nephews, and his beloved cat Muffy. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 3rd at 5:00 P.M. at The Presbyterian Church at Pluckemin, Route 202-206 North, Pluckemin, NJ 07978. The family will provide the flowers and ask that memorial contributions be directed to the Highlands Care Center, Dementia Unit, PO Box 10, Laporte, PA 18626.
