Ed was born February 23, 1918 in Philadelphia, PA son of the late Laurence & Margaret Reilly Quigley. He graduated from the West Catholic High School in 1936 and began working for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He married the former Eleanor Smith of Philadelphia at St. Rose of Lima Church, Philadelphia on April 27, 1946. He and Eleanor resided in Warminster, Bucks County and retired in 1976 after more than 30 years of service to the railroad. They moved to Bradford County in 1977. Ed was an avid stamp collector for many years. Surviving: Spouse: Eleanor at home Son: Edward T. (Carolyn) Quigley Jr. Powhatan Point, OH Daughter: Suzanne Hartle Rockledge, PA Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
