Reuter Jr., age 89 of Colley, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 05, 2006 at his home. Bill was born September 22, 1916 in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late William H. & Florence Klump Reuter Sr. During WW II, he worked at the Cramps Shipyard in Philadelphia and also as a member of the Naval Auxiliary he was a coast watcher throughout the war. He worked for many years for J D Hanger of Philadelphia, moved to Florida and later retired from his own business Bill’s Trailer Sales in Key West, FL. He moved to Sullivan County in 1994. Bill spent his life on the water. He was a Sea Scout and taught water and boating safety his entire life. He was a Past Commander of the Key West Power Squadron and a 50 year member. He also belonged to the BPOE over thirty years and was a former Boy Scout Leader. He was a member of St. John’s Chapel, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Surviving: Spouse: the former Ruth L. Lindberg at home Son: David F. Reuter Fayetteville, GA Two stepsons: Michael F. (Colleen) Coburn Groton, CT Eric Lindberg Coburn Euless, TX Nine grandchildren: Capt. William H. Reuter IV, Daniel Reuter, Scott Reuter, David Reuter Jr., Elizabeth Reuter, Tia Powers, Raylon Powers, Tyler James Coburn and Helen Loomis; and nine great grandchildren: Ryan Reuter, Logan Reuter, Megan Reuter, Christian David Reuter, Steve Reuter, Kelly Morgan, Kari Bella, Hunter Loomis and Alex Loomis, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, William H. Reuter III and by three brothers, Charles, Frederick and Norman. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 10th at 3:00 P.M. at St. John’s Chapel with his pastor, Rev. Randele Lee Albers, officiating. Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA on Saturday, Sept. 9th from 7 to 9 P.M. Memorials are directed to the United States Power Squadron Educational Fund, P.O.
