Bea was born November 28, 1918 in Mildred, PA daughter of the late Frank & Mary Zaukaskas Wanagitis. She attended local schools in Mildred, PA and married James Francis (Spade) Lang of Mildred on January 31, 1948. He predeceased her on November 2, 2005. Bea worked for many years at the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Mfg. Co. of Mildred, PA from which she retired. Bea was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA and was a loving spouse, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being with her large family and maintained a large flower and vegetable garden. She also loved to walk each day through the woods near her home. Surviving: Two daughters and son-in-law: Mimi & Thomas Fritsch Dushore, PA Ronda Lang Farrell Dushore, PA Three grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers ; Frank (Miggs) Wanagitis, Joseph (Yoski) Wanagitis, Charles Wanagitis, John Wanagitis and Vincent Wanagitis; sisters; Anna Matlavage, Margaret Johnson, Hilda Shinosky, Elizabeth Hembury, Patronella Molecavage and Lillian Wanagitis. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 9:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, her pastor, presiding. Interment will be in the adjoining parish cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the P. Dean Homer Funeral from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Members of St. Basil's - St. Francis Altar and Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
