DEAN HOMER FUNERAL HOME 206 WATER STREET PO BOX 1 DUSHORE, PA 18614 TEL 570 928-8163 FAX 570 928-8116 Email pdh@epix.net March 28, 2010 OBITUARY Bernadette ( Bernie) Kathleen Weaver, age 32 and her son Nathan Michael Weaver, age 7 months of Dushore, PA tragically passed away as a result of a fire at their home on Sunday, March 28, 2010 on Dutch Mt. Road in Cherry Township, Sullivan County, PA. Bernie was born September 19, 1977 a daughter of Ronald W. & Delores Nitcznski Kulsicavage of Mildred. She graduated from the Sullivan County High School a member of the class of 1995. She continued her education by taking courses on-line while working for the Farmers and Mechanics Insurance Company of Forksville for the past 10 years. She married Randy N. Weaver of Dushore on November 27, 2003. She also worked part time for Schoonover's Tax Service in Dushore, PA. She was an active member of St. Basil's Church, Dushore, PA. She coordinated the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and Daffodils Days for St. Basil's and dedicated these efforts in memory of her grandmother Marjorie. Bernie also loved her faithful pet dog Cujo IX who also perished in the fire. Surviving: in addition to her loving husband, Randy are her parents, Ron & Dee Kulsicavage of Mildred and a paternal grandmother, Theresa Kulsicavage of Lopez, PA; sisters: Toney (Douglas) Harstead of Montgomery and Veronica (Albert) Conner of Dushore, PA; brother-in-law: Michael (Shanda) Weaver of Dushore, PA, several aunts and several uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Bernie and Randy were blessed with the birth of their son, Nathan Michael Weaver on September 9, 2009. Nathan is survived by his father, maternal grandmother, Maxine Weaver of Dushore, maternal grandparents, Ron & Dee Kulsicavage of Mildred maternal great grandmother, Theresa Kulsicavage of Lopez and several aunts and uncles and great aunts, uncles and cousins. Nathan attended Hearts and Home Day Care in Overton, PA. Nathan was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Ellery Weaver Jr. A Transferal Service will be held on Tuesday, April 6th, 2010 at 9:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, pastor, presiding. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Members of St. Basil's - St. Francis Altar and Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 3:00 P.M. on Monday afternoon at the funeral home. Friends may call on Monday, April 5th, at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The family will provide the flowers and request that Memorials be directed in Bernie and Cujo's memory to the American Cancer Society, Sullivan Co.
