Jim was born in Philadelphia, on July 7, 1952 son of Francis J. Hochberg and Loraine LaSalle McCord. He graduated from Sharon Hill High School, a member of the class of 1969. Thereafter, he began his career with the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #19 in Philadelphia, Pa. Jim married the former Randa Marie Boysen of Haddonfield, NJ on May 5, 1973; they celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary this year. Jim raised his family in Washington Twp., New Jersey. Jim retired as a Business Agent for Local #19 in 2006 and moved to Ringer Hill with his wife to the home they built together in 1977. Jim was a member of St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, Pa and a social member of the American Legion in Dushore, Pa. Jim was a loving spouse, father and grandfather. He loved spending as much time as possible with his six grandchildren. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. A Transferal Service will be held on Saturday, Jan 2, 2010 at 9:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, his pastor, presiding. Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home on Friday, January 1, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Friends may call at the Church of the Incarnation at 240 Main Street, Mantua, New Jersey on Monday, January 4, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
