Frank was born in Lopez, PA November 25, 1925. He was the son of the late Michael & Anna Gulich Borick. He attended school in Lopez and moved to New York to find employment. Frank served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and returned to New York. Frank was involved in auto service in the auto industry with Hertz Inc and Mendon Truck Company. He has been retired for the past 15 years. He is survived by he wife Julia Beuker Borick, Two daughters and sons-in-law:Paulina & Wayne Muratore, Brooklyn, NY and Jane & Peter Jeffrey, Manhattan, NY Three grandsons:Marc Muratore,Peter Jeffrey,Matthew Muratore: Two Brothers and sister-in-law: Steve Borick,Towanda, PA and Daniel & Robin Borick, Hudson, FL; Three sisters and brothers-in-law: Eva Schneider,Perkasie, PA;Mildred and Robert Black, Summit, NJ;Catherine & Paul Snider,Lopez, PA; Sister-in-law:Cecelia Borick, Boyertown, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA with Hieromonk Michael Thier, pastor of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Lopez, PA. Friends may call on Monday evening at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Graveside funeral services will be accorded by members of McDermott Post #452 American Legion, Mildred, PA. Members are asked to assemble and pass in review at 6:45 on Monday evening at the funeral home.
