Elmer was born in Athens, PA a son of the late George Minor Greening and Letha Bennett Greening. He attended Wyalusing High School and married the former Dorothy Lilias Wells of Sugar Run, PA on November 29, 1946. His spouse Dot predeceased him on August 18, 2000. Elmer drove truck for most of his life for local companies. He enjoyed reading, watching television and caring for his lawn. Surviving: Two daughters and son-in-law: Alice May & Gene Lehman Jr. Monroeton, PA Nancy Zambri Towanda, PA Grandson: Tony Zambri Towanda, PA Numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant daughter. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Dennis W. Fox officiating. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery.
