Salsman, age 75, of Wyalusing, PA passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Mercy Tyler Hospital, Tunkhannock, PA. Eldon was born on April 3, 1935, in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Howard L. and Vera M. Woodfuff Salsman. He attended Laceyville High School. Throughout his career he worked various jobs doing logging and working in stone quarries. He married the former Eleanor G. VanDeMark of Sugar Hill, PA on August 9, 1956. She predeceased him on February 8, 1995. He was predeceased by five brothers: Duane, Maynard, David, Howard Jr., and Lyle. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Darrell L. Sands, officiating. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the funeral home from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M.
