Kay Homer Supervisor RR 2 BOX 5-A WYALUSING, PA 18853 April 4, 2006 OBITUARY Mrs. Maude Holgan Gottlieb, age 89, of Sugar Run, PA passed away peacefully at her home on April 4, 2006. Maude was born in New York, NY on December 14, 1916 a daughter of the late Thomas Henry Holgan and Grace Duff Holgan. Maude was a graduate of Boys & Girls High School, class of 1933. She met and married her husband of 30years, Frank Gottlieb, of Staten Island, NY in August of 1945. She moved to Sugar Run in 1975 after the death of her husband. She was a member and Chaplain of the Wyalusing American Legion Post #534, the Ladies Auxiliary, Bradford Salon 717 Eight And Forty, the Skinners Eddy Methodist Church, and the Women’s Marine Association. Maude was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed painting and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving: Son and daughter-in-law: Andrew & Catherine Gottlieb Del City, OK Son-in-law: Josiah Hunter Canyon City, CO Granddaughters and husband: Margaret & Christopher Adams Mehoopany, PA Denise Dallas Onamina, MN Grandsons and wife: Raymond & Michelle Hallett Jr. Shunk, PA Frank Hallett Colorado Springs, CO She had ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, a daughter: Frances Hunter in 2002, and two great grandsons Francis Hallett and A.J. Dallas. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 1:00 P.M at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Diane E. Prentice, pastor of the Hollenback United Methodist Church, officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by member of Wyalusing Post #534 American Legion. Wyalusing Legion Auxiliary members will conduct a Memorial Service and also the Bradford Salon 747 Eight And Forty will conduct a service. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to American Cancer Society, Bradford Unit, 1948 3rd St, Williamsport, PA 17701-3945.
