Joe was born in Edenton, NC on March 6, 1988 a son of Mark R. & Wanda E. Weeks Heim. Joe graduated from Salesianum High School in Wilmington, DE, where he was voted by his class of 2006 as the most talented student. He played Football and Lacrosse and loved outdoor sports, skiing, kayaking, backpacking as well as music, especially playing bluegrass on his banjo. Joe planned on attending Montana State University in Engineering on a Billings scholarship this fall. Joe loved life and was following this passion in Maine for the summer working as a whitewater rafting guide. Joe was always smiling, and loved his family and many friends. Surviving are his parents: Mark & Wanda Heim, brother, Peter and sisters, Kate Muckenhirn of Boston, MA and Cassie (Brian) Bosley of Manheim, PA. Grandparents, Patricia Heim, Laporte, PA and Wayne E. & Ellen M. Weeks, of Oakland, ME. Joe was predeceased by his grandfather, Joseph E. Heim on Nov. 13, 1996. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at St. Patrick’s Church, Malvern, PA with the Rev. William McCandless, presiding. Interment will be in Mountain Ash Cemetery, Laporte, PA on Thursday, July 27 at 10:00 A.M. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Mauger-Givnish Funeral Home, 24 Monument Ave., Malvern, PA.
