Lotsman, age 88, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, KS. Patronella was born April 28, 1921, in Mildred, PA, daughter of the late William & Catherine Kulsicavage Chiplis of Mildred, PA. She graduated from Cherry Township High School and married Michael Lotsman, of Lopez, PA. She was an accomplished seamstress and worked at the Weldon Mfg. Co. of Lopez, PA, Endicott-Johnson Mfg. Co. of Mildred, PA and later, for Bonds Clothing in Rochester, NY. For many years she spent summers in Rochester with daughter Sandra and winters in Florida with daughter Patricia, until she moved, with her daughter Patricia, to Olathe, KS in 2006. For the last few years she has resided at Villa St. Francis, Olathe, KS. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling with her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Michael, infant brother Edward, sister Ann Saunders, and brothers Albert Chiplis, and Joseph Chiplis. Beloved mother of 2 surviving daughters, Patricia (Frank) Kratcoski, Olathe, KS, and Sandra (Matthew) Felo, Fairport, NY. Also survived by 4 grandchildren: Frank (Leslie) Kratcoski, Karen (Jay)Tolar, Jennifer (Paul) Stracke, and Laura Felo; 8 great-grandchildren: Alex, Max, Megan, Zachary, Emily, Paul, Ryan, and Kyle; several nieces and nephews: Joan Saunders McGrath, Catherine Saunders Gilman, Gail (Shawn) Meehan and William Chiplis (Susanne Wood). She was a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mildred, PA, St. John the Evangelist Church in Rochester, NY, and later joined Prince of Peace Church in Olathe, KS. A Transferal Service will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, pastor, presiding. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA on Monday, March 22, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
