Born Aug. 25, 1925, in Mildred, PA, he was the son of the late Francis & Edythe Saxe Sick. After serving in the US Navy during WWII, he became a sales representative for Northport Ford in Northport, Long Island, N.Y. Louis was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Kealakekua, HI and was a past commander and life member of Wm. Merritt Hallock American Legion Post, and a former little league umpire in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. He is survived by wife, Edna Sick, of Captain Cook; sons, Gerard (Erica) Sick, of Captain Cook, and Robert (Marlayne) Sick, of Monroe, N.Y.; daughters, Judy (Thomas) Miller of Red Hook, N.Y., and Kathy (Stephan) Buthmann, of Riverhead, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl Sick and two sisters: Marian Tubach of Dushore, PA and Geraldine Sick-Rohe of Towanda, PA.
