Jose was born September 13, 1950 in Puerto Rico, a son of Isabelle Perez Baez and the late Jose L. Baez. He resided in the Stroudsburg area until illness necessitated his convalescence. He spouse Jeanne predeceased him in 2007. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Laporte. He is survived by a son, Jeff Baez and a daughter Jessica Baez both of Stormville, NY and several aunts and uncles and cousins. Services will be private with burial next to his spouse in Stroudsburg. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
