She joined her infant brother Richard and her parents Anna and John Ross. She is survived by her daughter Margy Ross of Richmond; her son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Audrey Oddi, granddaughters Anne Margaret and Charlotte Oddi, all of Richmond; Brother James Ross and his wife Sandra of Owego, NY; nieces Leigh Joyce (Mark), Patricia LaPlante (Chris), and Amy Taylor (Scot); several Great nieces and nephews and many cousins. Peggy was born March 16, 1929 in Philadelphia. She spent some of her youth in Hollenback, Pa, attended Wyalusing High School and graduated from Towanda High School. She received a Nursing Degree from the Wilson Hospital School of Nursing in Johnson City, NY and later, a degree in Anesthesiology from the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. After practicing that profession for a time in the Petersburg/Richmond, VA. area, Peggy transitioned to become a successful Real Estate Broker in the Richmond area for over 30 years. In addition to her business and her family, Peggy loved to travel – visiting Mexico, China, and Israel. A spiritual awakening enhanced the later years of her life and she was an enthusiastic and generous evangelist for the Lord. A Funeral service will be held at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing PA. At 12:30 PM, Friday, May 5, 2006 with the Rev. Thomas Watts, presiding. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. to Noon. Burial will be in the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cummiskey, PA. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Hospice.
