Carl "Joe" Joseph Broschart

Carl Joseph Broschart, age 87, of Dushore, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 07, 2017 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.             Joe was born on September 25, 1929 in Forks Township, a son of the late Bernard John Broschart & Nellie Marie Leahy Broschart.  He graduated from the Estella High School a member of the class of 1948.   He served in the US Marines during the Korean War.  His first wife Marie Litzelman Broschart predeceased him on September 11, 1973.             Joe was a faithful communicant at St. Basil’s Church in Dushore, PA.  Joe’s great joy was flying his airplane with his sons, and later flying model airplanes.   Surviving: Spouse: Charlotte “Shirley” Broschart                                    Home   Sons and daughters-in-law: Robert G. Vernon Broschart on June 28, 2010.             A Transferal Service will be held on Friday, March 10th, 2017 at 9:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Basil's Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Michael S.
