Henry Stanley Wood Jr.

Mr. Henry Stanley Wood Jr., age 62, of Dushore, PA, passed away peacefully at the Bradford County Manor on Sunday, September 25, 2016. Henry was born in Towanda, PA on July 10, 1954 a son of Winifred Kinney Wood and the late Henry S. Wood Sr. He grew up in Wyalusing and graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School a member of the class of 1972. He worked for over 25 years at GTE Sylvania now known as GTP. He lived in Towanda for many years before moving to the Sullivan Terrace in 2012. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking and spending time with his cat and dog. Surviving: Three sons and daughters-in-law: Robert S. (Katherine) Wood, Mildred, PA Jeremy R. (Danielle) Wood, Dushore, PA Jaime Wood, Dushore, PA Mother: Winifred Wood, Wyalusing, PA Longtime special friend of 17 years: Carol Bennett, at home Brother and sister-in-law: Tom (Sue) Wood, Wysox, PA Sister and brother-in-law: Linda (Robert) Gilbert, Forksville, PA Aunt: Nancy Terascavage, Wyalusing, PA Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Henry S. Wood Sr. on September 10, 1997 and a brother, Boyd R. Wood on March 29, 2014, a daughter-in-law Melissa Noel Wood on March 4, 2005 and by two grandsons. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and interment will be in the Terrytown Cemetery, Terrytown, PA. Arrangements are under the direction of the P.
