William "Bill" Harold Hunsinger

William Harold Hunsinger, age 74, of Dushore, PA passed away on Friday, August 05, 2016 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Bill was born July 30, 1942 a son of the late Harold C. & Stella Hubiak Hunsinger. He graduated from the Turnpike High School a member of the Class of 1962. He served in the US Navy and worked as a union electrician for several years before he took over the operation of the family dairy farm from his parents. He had an outstanding herd and won many awards for production. He was a member of McDermott Post #452 American Legion Post, Mildred, PA and the American Jersey Cattle Association. Surviving: Son: Jeremy Hunsinger Waterloo, Ontario Daughter: Stephane (Jeffrey) Hunsinger Gorenc Medina, OH Sisters: Lillian (John) Yengo Ithaca, NY Irene (Robert) Schaefer Dushore, PA Uncle: John Hubiak Fort Worth, TX Aunts: Marian Hubiak Baltimore, MD Irene Gattuso Alexandria, VA A grandson, Thomas Gorenc Nieces and nephews: John J. Yengo Jr.; Gregory Scott Yengo; Lisa Monique Trahan; Mark Robert Schaefer and Amy Peters and two special great nephews Tyler and Ryan Trahan. At Bill’s request services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
