Georgetta Mary Eisenberger

Mrs. Georgetta Mary Eisenberger, age 73, of York, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Highlands Care Center in Laporte, PA. Georgetta was born February 5, 1943 in York, PA, a daughter of the late George C. & Mary Stubbs Kohler. She graduated from the York Central High School, a member of the class of 1961. She then enlisted in the US Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. Despite many challenges in life, Georgetta had a deep faith in God’s abiding love. A Bible could often be found by her side. Her faith bore the fruit of kindness, for which she was known. She was given the gift of four beautiful children and 5 grandchildren, whom will miss her dearly. Surviving: Two daughters: Janetta Lambert Charlotte, NC Karen Eisenberger Dallastown, PA Grandchildren: Katie Hughs York, PA Lyndsey Krug Dallastown, PA Parker Bergeron Charlotte, PA Siblings: Charmaine Kui York, PA Weston Kohler Paradise, CA Ross Kohler Allentown, PA She was predeceased by two sons: Joseph Eisenberger and Eric Eisenberger and two grandsons: Keith Bissett and Drayton Buckner, and also by a brother, Mark Kohler. Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family, officiated by Pastor Mike Campbell. Memorial Contributions can be sent to York Rescue Mission.
