William "Bill" A. Orlowski

William A. Orlowski, age 77, of Dushore, PA went to the Lord on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Susquehanna Health Regional Medical Center in Williamsport, PA. Bill was born May 21, 1938 the son of the late William F. & Anna Patson Orlowski. He graduated from the Cherry Township High School a member of the class of 1957. He served in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Tidewater from 1956 to 1959. He married the former Patricia Ann Radwanski of East Lemon Township on April 1, 1961. Patricia predeceased him on September 16, 2002. He began working for Philadelphia Dairy at the Dushore Creamery and after it closed began working at GTE Sylvania in Towanda, from which he retired in 1993 after more than 28 years of service. He enjoyed cooking bar-b-que chicken and having family and friends in his life to talk of the old and the new. It didn’t matter whom he was with, he liked visiting with everyone. He was a very accomplished handyman from plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and wood working. He was always willing to give a hand to anyone and he will be missed by all who knew him. Bill was a member of Trinity Chapel, Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, Mildred, PA. Surviving: Four daughters: Diane Orlowski Dyer Shults (John) Altland of Dushore, PA Linda & Ted Beaver of Lopez, PA Cindy Orlowski of Dushore, PA Cathy Orlowski and fiancé Jason Quesada of Muncy, PA Sister: Patricia (Elwood) Smith of Whitehall, PA Four Grandchildren: Danny Dyer, Natalie Dyer (Jamie) Wood, Lisa Beaver (Jesse) Sperry and Matthew Beaver; four great grandchildren: Holly Sperry, Aiden Sperry, Lillian Wood and Autumn Wood, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Ashley Ann Dyer on December 26, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA, with his pastor, the Rev. Phyllis A. Pelletier, officiating. Interment will be Trinity cemetery, Mildred, PA Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
