Patrick Dempsey Flynn, age 67, of Brooksville, FL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday morning, November 23, 2015 in Corning, New York while doing what he loved best, delivering automobiles from car auctions in the south to dealers in the north.
Pat was born August 5, 1948 a son of the late Edward M. & Kathryn Dempsey Flynn of Mildred, PA. He attended St. Basil’s High School in Dushore and later attended a mechanic’s trade school.
Pat was an extremely hard worker and he owned and operated his car hauling business for over 40 years. He made countless friends at truck stops and dealerships from Florida to New York. He loved the Lord as much as he did life. He loved attending church, spending time with his family and collecting and working on classic cars. Pat also loved sneaking his late night bowl of ice cream. Pat was loved by so many people and will be missed dearly.
He was a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mildred, PA.

15 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a nephew, Colin Flynn on August 29, 2015.
A Transferal Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Richard Rojas, pastor, presiding.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the transferal.
