Toni Jo Turner Walters

Toni Jo Turner Walters, age 53, of Wyalusing, PA passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015. Toni was born on April 26, 1962 a daughter of Sharon Allen Turner of Quicks Bend, and the late Jackie Merle Turner. She graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School a member of the class of 1980. She lived in Mississippi for 19 years where she raised her two sons and was a housewife. She recently moved back to the area in 2009. While living in the area she worked for Steward Industrial Maintenance in Mehoopany, PA and then for Connie’s Supermarket and most recently for Smith’s Personal Care Home. Toni was an avid gardener and enjoyed flowers and she was an exceptional painter and loved painting ceramics. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving: Mother: Sharon Turner, Quicks Bend, PA Husband: Dean Walters, Moselle, MS Two sons: Christopher Walters, Canton, PA Justin Walters, Moselle, MS Two Brothers: Tracy Turner, Quicks Bend, PA Michael Turner, Quicks Bend, PA She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Jackie Turner on December 23, 1996 and by a niece, Andrea Lynn Turner on July 28, 2010. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA, with the Rev. Heather M. Baker-McAllister of the Wyalusing United Methodist Church officiating. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until the start of the service at 12 Noon on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the P.
