Sherwood Gary Adams, age 66, of Terrytown, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Robert Packer Hospital, in Sayre, PA with his loving family at his side.
Gary was born on June 15, 1949 a son of the late Roy P. and Reva Eberlin Adams. He graduated from Sullivan County High School in the class of 1967. After school he worked construction and then for the Dushore Creamery, followed by Proctor and Gamble from which he retired. He married the former Cheryl Hoffman on February 11, 1984; they celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary this past February.
Gary was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #534, Wyalusing, PA. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also liked to ski. Gary was a very handy guy, a jack of all trades. He was always smiling, and was known to have fun wherever he went.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA 18853with the Rev. Phyllis A. Pelletier officiating.
