Edward A. Yavorski Jr.

Edward A. Yavorski, Jr, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2015 at his home in Dunellen, NJ with his loving family by his side. Born in Mildred, PA, he was the son of the late Edward Sr and Anna (Kulsicavage) Yavorski. After serving his country honorably in the United States Army, Mr. Yavorski worked for many years in various roles for Westinghouse, Research Cotrell and Englehard. He was an Associate Member of the Dunellen Fire Department. Mr. Yavorski is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Katharine (Cullen). He is also survived by his six loving children, his sons, John of Dunellen, Stephen and Kimberly of Ambler, PA, his daughters, Marie and Joseph Simone of Flemington, Karen Semone and Charles Lehman of Middlesex, Michele and Manthan Gandhi of Norristown, PA and Julianne Yavorski of Dunellen. He is also survived by his nine cherished grandchildren, as well as by his two sisters, Diana Cooper of Watsontown, PA and Donna McHugh of Pennsdale, PA. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 24 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen, NJ. A mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 25, at 10:00 AM at St John’s Catholic Church in Dunellen, NJ. Interment will take place on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St Francis Xavier Cemetery in Overton, PA with the Rev. Richard Rojas, presiding.
