Margaret Ann Yedinak

Mrs. Margaret Ann Yedinak L.P.N., age 94, of Dushore, PA formerly of Miner’s Mills, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, at The Highlands Care Center in Laporte, PA Margaret was born on March 19, 1921 in Wilkes-Barre, PA a daughter of the late Thomas and Veronica Smalka Stranova. She attended local schools and eventually earned her license as a Practical Nurse. She worked at various health care organizations in Wilkes-Barre. Her husband, Michael Yedinak predeceased her. She retired to Dushore in 2003 to reside with her son, Dr. Michael Yedinak, M.D. Margaret was a member of St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA. She was a loving mother, and grandmother. Surviving; Son: Michael (Mary) Yedinak Dushore, PA Daughter-in-law: Betty Yedinak White Haven, PA Three grandchildren: Nicholas Yedinak Houston, TX Michael Yedinak Wilkes-Barre, PA Heidi Barlow Virginia Beach, VA Two great grandchildren: Alora and Addison Barlow She was predeceased by a son, James Yedinak; a sister: Anna M. Kester and two brothers: John and Joseph Stanova. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Richard Rojas, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton, PA Friends and family may call at the Church from 10:00 A.M.
