OBITUARY
November 29, 2014 Elizabeth Enright Caccia, of Dutch Mountain, Sullivan County, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Agape Senior Assisted Living Facility, in Conway, S.C. Betty was born June 13, 1927 in Pringle, one of ten children of the late John & Mary Ksenith McCobin and moved to their farm on Dutch Mountain, with her family at an early age. She graduated from the Dushore High School, a member of the class of 1944. She retired from the Marine Midland Bank in Elmira, NY after 25 years of service. Moving back to Dutch Mountain, she served as a Supervisor and Colley Township Secretary for 11 years. She married John J. Caccia, formerly of Mildred on February 25, 1984 and he predeceased her on August 31, 2004. She was a member of St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Church in Lopez, PA and was very active with many of the church fundraising activities. Surviving: Two sons: William J. Enright Conway, SC Edward J. (Debbie) Enright Conway, SC Sister-in-law: Ruby McCobin Bristol, TN
Eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a grandson: Brian Enright, and four brothers: John McCobin Jr., Metro McCobin, Frank McCobin and Michael McCobin; and five sisters: Eva Statler, Jule Stanley, Helen Kachmarsky, Anne Dalberto and Mary Neddoff.
Burial Service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. St. Vladimir’s Church, Lopez, PA with the Rev. Dennis Hendershot officiating. Interment will be in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.
