Rose was born March 22, 1943, daughter of the late Anton and Rose (Traub) Humbach in Hay Township, Michigan.  She graduated from Beaverton High School, Beaverton, Michigan a member of the class of 1961.  She married Paul Metzger of Beaverton, Michigan on September 1, 1962.  She moved with her husband several times in her life including three years in Sydney, Australia.  Before retirement she lived in Horsham, PA and moved to Dushore, PA with her husband in 2005. She was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed being with her family. Rose was a member of St. Basil the Great Church, Dushore, PA. Surviving: Spouse: Paul at home Children:   Pamela (Anthony) Sypula, Columbus, IN   Michael (Melinda) Metzger, Colorado Springs, CO   Matthew (Dawn) Metzger, Holly, MI   Six grandchildren:   Holly Metzger, Wixom, MI   Amy Metzger, Commerce Twp, MI   Andrew Sypula, Columbus, IN   Samantha Metzger, Holly, MI   Seth Metzger,  Colorado Springs, CO     Ryan Metzger, Colorado Springs, CO   Three great grandchildren:   Madilyn Reyes, Wixom, MI       Alexis Reyes, Wixom MI   Collin Bogan, Commerce Twp, MI   Brothers and sisters       John (Laurel) Humbach, Sterling Hts, MI   Joseph (Marvella) Humbach, Livonia, MI   Veronica (Carl) Winn, Fenton, MI   Richard (Adelaide) Humbach, Warren, MI   Michael (Nancy) Humbach, Smiths Grove, MI   And also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.           Rose was predeceased by two grandchildren:  Anthony Sypula II (1989), Ian Sypula (1991); and a brother: Stephen Humbach (1974) and two sister: Anna Lusk (1983), and Edna Raupp (1970)             A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 6th 2014 at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Richard Rojas, her pastor, presiding.  Interment will be in Michigan.             Friends may call at the church from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service.   Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P.
