Auer, age 84, of New Albany, PA passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014 at her home. Eileen was born February 20, 1930 a daughter of the late Harry & Clara Marcie Vargason. She graduated from the Wyalusing High School a member of the class of 1949. She worked at Sullcraft Mfg. Co. in Dushore and married Alois E. Auer on March 1, 1969. She continued to work for a short time and then was a fulltime homemaker and mother. She was a loving spouse, mother and grandmother and enjoyed traveling with Alois and visiting friends and relatives. She especially enjoyed sewing and crafts. And numerous nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA 18853 with the Rev. Dr. Barry R. Ballard, officiating. Interment will be in the French Asylum Cemetery, Durrell, PA Friends may call on Tuesday at the Homer Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
