Ray was born on July 29, 1954 a son of Gordon and Nancy Borbich Gerhart. He married Patricia Ann Sysock of Mildred, PA on September 26, 1980 and they enjoyed 33 happy years together before her untimely passing on August 8, 2014. Ray honorably served in the United States Marine Corps, having served in Vietnam. After he was honorably discharged he went to work for Airworks in Millville, NJ which later became Dallas Airmotive. He worked there for many years and then started working at Millville Jet Center. He was currently employed at Boeing, Ridley Park, PA, where he has worked the past 5 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and always enjoyed coming up to the mountains of Sullivan County. He also enjoyed going to the Bloomsburg Fair every year. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 13th, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA, with Pastor Phyllis Pelletier officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Francis of Assisi Church Cemetery, Mildred, PA. Friends and family may call on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the P.
