Gayle was born October 26, 1958 son of Esther Gamble Tyrrell of Wyalusing, PA and the late Charles Tyrrell. He graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School a member of the class of 1977. He worked for Arrow United of Wyalusing for over 20 years and was currently a truck driver for Schneider Valley Farms in Williamsport for the past five years. He married the former Lisa Marie Cecce on August 5, 2006 Gayle was a loving spouse and step-father. He really loved his profession as a truck driver. He also enjoyed Go-cart racing, NASCAR racing and all levels of football. He was a member of Sheet Metal Union #44 and a member of the Teamsters Union. Surviving: his spouse, Lisa at home; two step-sons: Brandon (Christina) Hillyard and Tyler (fiancé Amber Wood) Hillyard both of New Albany; step-daughter: Mackenzie Hillyard at home; mother, Esther Tyrrell of Wyalusing; sister, Angie (Mike) Ely of Wyalusing, a grandson, Branson Hillyard; a niece, Janine (Ross) Muench of Berwick; a nephew, Daniel Ely of Wyalusing and a great niece, Ava Muench; in-laws: Louis & Bonnie Cecce of South Waverly, PA and special friends, Scott & Jackie Hillyard of New Albany and several aunts, uncles and cousins and his Schneider Valley Farm family in Williamsport. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA with Pastor Linda Rogers, officiating, Friends may call at the Homer Funeral Home on Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 4:00 P.M.
