OBITUARY

Mrs. Annetta “Anna” Decker, age 90, of Mildred, PA passed away peacefully on early Friday morning, July 11, 2014 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.
Anna was born August 21, 1923 in Bernice, Pennsylvania to Eugenio and Susan Mattioli Serafini. One of eight children, Ann grew up in a very active household. She attended Bernice School. On May 7, 1945 she married Stephen Matthew Decker and they enjoyed 54 years of marriage before his passing on January 12, 2000.
After having children, she became a devoted mother and a full-time homemaker. Ann was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Mildred, PA.

She was predeceased by a son Eugene S. “Jimmy” Decker on May 22, 2009. And also by brothers: John Serafini and Armando Serafini, and by sisters: Rose Gardner, Josephine Barnatovich, and Enis Serafini.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Edward L. Michelini, presiding. Interment will be in the adjoining parish cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday morning, July 14, 2014 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home.
