Richard was born November 24, 1950 in Elmira, New York a son of Jack O. and Lucretia Huffman Way & George Ostrander Sr.. He graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School, a member of the class of 1969. He worked for Proctor & Gamble in Mehoopany for several years before moving to Alba, where he worked for Durabuilt Manufacturing. He enjoyed riding his Harley and tinkering with motors. He also liked watching his son Rich at the 4x4 truck pulls. Surviving: Mother, Lucretia Way of Sugar Run; three children: Richie Way, Jr. (Alicia Eisenhut fiancée) of Sayre, PA, Sharon (Gary) Lunn of Wysox, PA, and DJ Way of Nichols, New York. 2 Granddaughters, Rebecca & Kailyn Lunn; two sisters Jackie (Wayne) Bogovich of Silver Springs, MD, and Esther (Tom) Potts of Sugar Run. 8 step-siblings and their spouses: Candi (Robb) Bahr, George (Melissa) Ostrander Jr., Tina (Lope) Lee, Betty (George) Hurd, Linda ( Gary) Cornell, Tom (Penny) Ostrander, Becky Ostrander, Carl (Missy) Ostrander He was predeceased his step-father, John. O. “Jack” Way and by his father: George Ostrander Sr. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P.
