Jeffrey Homer, Supervisor 1 Grovedale Lane      Wyalusing, Pennsylvania 18853 Tel 570 746-1444 Fax 570 928-8116 Email pdh@epix.net www.homerfuneralhome.com  OBITUARY  Mrs. Pauline “ Peggy” Ruth Bennett, age 88, Wyalusing Township resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Bradford County Manor, in Burlington Township, PA  Peggy was born on October 1, 1925 in Rushville, PA a daughter of the late Fay N. and Emma Edwards Shaner. She graduated from the Rush High School. She married Clifton Bennett of Stoney Point on October 9, 1944, he predeceased her on January 5, 2006. They had celebrated 61 years of marriage.  Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed helping others, whether it be cooking for church dinners or sending cards to lift people’s spirits. She loved spending time outdoors, planting flowers, gardening, doing work around the yard. Peggy liked going for rides in the fall and taking in all of the beautiful foliage. Peggy would always put the needs of others in front of her own, her loving and caring nature was evident to all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.  She attended the Herrickville Wesleyan Church.           Surviving: two sons: Richard (Charlene) Bennett of Sugar Run, PA and David F. Bennett of East Stroudsburg, PA; two daughters: Sharon Iskowitz of East Stroudsburg, PA and Barbara (Anthony) Rockwell of Spring Lake, PA; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.            She was predeceased by a grandson, Jason Bennett and by two sisters, Arlene Schiappa and Helen Smith, and a brother John Shaner.       Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Peggy’s request and are under the direction of the P.
