Taylor, age 42, of Herrickville, PA passed away on Monday evening, February 24, 2014 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA with his loving wife and family at his side. Duane was born on April 19, 1971 in Towanda, PA a son of the late Ralph W. Taylor and Vivian Wright Harbst. He married the former Carrie Sue Mosier on September 8, 2012 after 10 years of dating each other. Duane graduated from Wyalusing Valley Jr./Sr. High School a member of the class of 1990. After graduation he worked on neighboring farms around Herrickville and also worked at the former Jersey Engine Rebuilders in West Warren, PA. He then later worked at J & J Sales and Bluhm’s Shopping Center. He attended CR England Truck Driving School in Salt Lake City, Utah and then received his CDL from there. He drove truck for several local companies, with his wife Sue beside him, including Miller’s Automotive of Dushore, PA, Gardner Trucking of Roaring Branch, PA, Midwest Auto Transport of Clyde, OH, Motor Corp. Transportation of Oberlin, OH, and Wyalusing Transport of LeRaysville, PA. He enjoyed collecting scrap with his dad, Ralph and he loved fixing tractors, trucks, and cars in his garage with his dad also. He also loved hunting, fishing, and camping. Duane and Sue always looked forward to their yearly trips to the beach. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph W. Taylor on February 20, 2014, his mother-in-law, Julia Ann “Judy” Mosier, on February 14, 2013 and two nephews, Ralph “Bucky” Taylor and Austin Jordan Cook. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Herrickville United Methodist Church, Herrickville, PA with Rev. William L. Westbrook Sr. and Rev. Dale L.
