Kipp Sr., age 71, of New Albany, Pa., passed away on Thursday night, February 13, 2014, with his loving family at his side. Leo was born in Sayre, PA on June 27, 1942, a son Martine Robinson Kipp and the late Leo Kipp. He met and married the former Joyce Chilson of Terrytown, PA on February 25, 1961; they had celebrated their 52th anniversary last year. In his early years he worked on dairy farms in the area, later the Benton Foundry for a few years, and then Taylor Beef for 24 years until his health prevented him from continuing. He enjoyed being outdoors on the farm, he also liked to hunt. He was an avid fan of the WWE and the Pennsylvania Polka. He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him as well as his special friend and co-pilot Frannie the dog. He was predeceased by granddaughter Mary Sue Kipp in 1992, and an infant great-granddaughter. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014, at 11:00 A.M., at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with the Pastor Mike MacWhinnie and Rev. Romeyn Kipp, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen, and PA. Friends and family may call on Sunday, February 16, 2014, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., also on Monday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the P.
