Anita was born on September 12, 1948, a daughter of Charles and Anna Kovalik Remaykis. She graduated from Swoyersville High School in the class of 1966, afterward she attended College Misericordia graduating in 1970. Anita married Joseph A. Armstrong of Sugar Run, PA in 1988. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2003. After college she taught elementary school at Ross Elementary in Lake Lehman school district until 1988, and was most recently employed at Connie’s Supermarket in Wyalusing. She will be remembered most for her cheery disposition. She was a loving wife and mother and loved spending time with her family. She loved working outside in the yard, being in the kitchen baking, vacationing to the beach, and countless shopping trips with special friend Jason Conner. She is survived by: Daughter and fiancé: Amy L. Armstrong and Joseph Benjamin at home Brothers: John (Marie) Urban Swoyersville, PA Charles Remaykis Swoyersville, PA Numerous nieces and nephews.
