Dolores was born on November 9, 1925 in Albany Township, a daughter of the late Joseph Bernard and Elizabeth Litzelman Finan. She worked at Weldon’s Pajama Factory, and then went to work at Sull-Craft, and then retired from the Endicott Johnson Shoe Factory, in Mildred, PA. She was a member of St. Basil’s Church and also a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving: Son: Raymond Jerkes Dushore, PA Daughter and Son-in-law: Mary Rose (Robert) Berfield Whitehall, PA Brother: Bernard (Joan) Finan Painted Post, NY Sisters: Elinor Rufe Ephrata, PA Amelia Finan, PhD Annapolis, MD Three grandchildren: Keith Berfield, Janine Berfield and Zachary Jerkes and a great-grandsons, Logan & Dylan Berfield. Besides her parents, Dolores was predeceased, by her husband John W. Jerkes, on May 12, 2009 and by a sister Rosanne Terkoski, of Horseheads, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with her pastor, the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick presiding. Interment will follow in St. Basil’s Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water Street, Dushore, PA.
