OBITUARY
November 18, 2013
Albert Zosh, age 78 of Lopez, PA passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.
Albert was born July 28, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre, PA a son of the late Andrew G. and Susan Homza Zosh. He graduated from Turnpike High School a member of the class of 1953. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1955 and served in the US and also in Japan and was discharged in 1958. During his time in the service he completed a year of college.
Upon discharge he was employed as a member of the Meriden CT Fire Department and served there until retiring in 1983. In Meriden, he enjoyed camping with his family and was also the president of the local International Association of Fire Fighters, and moved to Lopez in 1986. In retirement he enjoyed collecting colored Gemstones. He also love to be with his grandchildren as they were the light of his life.
He was formerly a member of SS: Peter & Paul’s Byzantine Catholic Church, in Lopez, PA and was currently a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA

Morgan Burd, Aimee Craddock, Sophia Burd and Hewson Burd all of Constableville, NY and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter: Monica Lynn Craddock of Dushore, PA on October 21, 2012; and a brother, Stephen Zosh of Lopez, PA on December 3, 1979 and a sister, Isabelle Halliday of Mildred, PA on January 28, 1983.
A Transferal Service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, his pastor, presiding. Interment will be in SS: Peter & Paul’s cemetery, Lopez, PA.
Friends may call on Friday, 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Homer Funeral Home.
