(Happy) McMahon and Anna J. Perdishun McMahon. He graduated from St. Basil’s High School, a member of the class of 1952. He served in the Korean War in the Navy CBs from 1953 to 1957. After returning from the War, he married the former Pauline Hugo of New Albany on October 26, 1957. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary last October. Jim began working delivering fuel oil for Browning Oil Company of New Albany and later was employed as an electrician at GTE Sylvania for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. Jim was a member of St. Basil’s Church in Dushore, PA and a member of Loyalsock Post #996 American Legion, Dushore, PA and a member of the GTE Sylvania Quarter Century Club. Jim also served over ten years as a member of the Wyalusing School Board. Surviving: Spouse: Pauline at home Sons: Royce (LuAnn) McMahon Rochester, NY Russell (Michele) McMahon Wyalusing, PA Daughters: Nadine McMahon (Sal Dabetta) Wyoming, PA Celinda (Anthony) Crawford Hagerstown, MD Sister: Mary Lou Klem Dushore, PA Sisters-in-law: Joan McMahon Dushore, PA Ann McMahon Pennsdale, PA Bernice (Art) Yonkin Dushore, PA Doris Hugo New Albany, PA Virginia Hugo New Albany, PA Brother-in-law: Harold C. Rider Eagles Mere, PA Four grandchildren: Preston Crawford, Connor Crawford, Ashton McMahon Martin, and Shawn McMahon and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a twin brother John L. (Jack) McMahon on April 7, 2000 and by brothers-in-law: Michael Klem on August 12, 2013, Kenneth Hugo, March 6, 2002 and Howard Hugo, June 6, 2004 and sister-in-law: Carolyn Rider, September 29, 2006. A Transferal Service will be held on Monday, October 14, 20 13 at 10:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Edward L. Michelini, presiding. Interment will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, Dushore, on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Graveside Military Services will be accorded by member of Loyalsock Post #996 American Legion, Dushore, PA. Members are asked to assemble and pass in review on Sunday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
