Alice was born in Fallsington, PA, on March 25, 1936, a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Helen Bux Beffert. She graduated from the Bristol High School a member of the class of 1955. She married Edward C Blackburn of Bensalem, PA, on September 10, 1955, last fall they celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. Alice was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Dushore, PA. Alice loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid bingo player frequenting the bingo halls in the New Albany Fire Co, and Black Walnut Legion. Alice liked reading, gardening, and visiting casinos’, her favorites being Showboat in Atlantic City and Parx in Bensalem, PA. Surviving: Spouse: Edward C. She was predeceased by a son Ronald A Blackburn, brother and sister-in-law James and Nancy Beffert; two sisters and brother-in-laws: Josephine and Walter Blackburn, and Dorothy and Robert Litz, two brother-in-laws Richard D. Blackburn and Benjamin Asta, and two sister-in-laws Gayle Beffert and Lisa Beffert. Friends may call on Monday, August 19, 2013, from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM at the P.
