OBITUARY
Francis J. (Frank) Farrell, age 58, of Dushore, PA owner of the Canton Auto Parts, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Munson Medical Center, Traverse City, MI after a brief illness.
Frank was born June 25, 1954 a son of Joseph G. & Valeria T. Stortini Farrell. He graduated from the Sullivan County High School a member of the class of 1972. He attended his 40th Class Reunion last year.
After high school, Frank worked for Penn D.O.T. as a surveyor until entering the US Army where he served from 1978 to 1981. After returning from the Army he moved to Troutman, North Carolina, where he worked in the construction of the new GTE Sylvania plant and continued working at the new plant for GTE. He later moved to Littleton CO, where he worked in computer programing for Western Geo Physical Corp for several years. He returned home in 2002 and worked for Farrell Auto Supply in Dushore, PA before he purchased Canton Auto Parts Inc., a Napa store, in 2003
Frank was a member of St. Basil’s Church in Dushore, PA

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 9:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Joseph J. Hornick, his pastor, presiding. Interment will be in the adjoining parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
The family will provide the flowers and request that Memorial contributions be directed to St. Basil’s Restoration Fund, PO Box 307, Dushore, PA 18614.
Graveside Military Services will be accorded by members of Loyalsock Post #996 American Legion, Dushore, PA and by members of the PA Military Forces Honor Guard.
