Anne W. Banse

ANNE W. BANSE 79, of Wyndmoor and Eagle's Mere PA, a generous supporter of Philadelphia area arts, educational, religious and medical institutions, devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother passed away at home on Monday, October 15th, 2012. Anne cherished life, her husband, children and grand-children. She is survived by her children, daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Robert and Jane Banse of Delaplane VA, Amy Banse and Joseph Dworetzky of San Francisco and Philadelphia and John Banse of Concord MA and by her 11 grandchildren, Lydia, Holland, Lee, Adam, Will, Jack, Claire, Alex, Anna, Tom and Hugh. Her husband, Robert L. Banse, former General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Merck & Co., Inc. predeceased Mrs. Banse. A Celebration of Anne's life will take place at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at St. John's-in-the-Wilderness Episcopal Church in Eagles Mere, PA.
