She was born on April 7, 1921 in Pleasant Run, NJ, to the late Norwood S. and Margaret Stevens Hall. After graduating from Clinton High School in NJ in the class of 1938, she went on to complete beauty school. She then married Edward E Felter Jr. in 1940. After raising her family, she worked at local dress factories, did clerical work at the Wyalusing School Office, and did book keeping for Bradford County Action retiring on her 79th birthday. Dorothy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling with the Ottaviani Contacts team for many years and was an Auxiliary member of the American Legion Post #534. She is survived by her daughter Pat Luttinen of Wyalusing, sons: Keith (Rosanne) Felter of Rome, Wayne Felter of Wyalusing, and Glenn Felter and special friend Brenda Robinson of Wyalusing, sister: Ethel (Walter) Graham of Lebanon NJ and a brother Willard (Jean) Hall of Libby MT. Grandchildren Kathy (Robert) Lantz, Susan (Rollie) Conner, Edward E Felter IV, Hayden (Lisa) Felter, Col. Keith (Hailley) Felter Jr., Elizabeth (Michael) Mooney, Chris (Bettina) Felter, Wayne Felter II, Nicole Heeman, Angela (Adam) Oliver, numerous step grandchildren, eleven great grand children and many step great grand children. Dorothy was predeceased by husband Edward in September of 2004, a son Edward Felter III in 1997, a grandson Aaron Felter in 2005; infant great grandson Jacob Drew Heeman in 2006; brother Col. Robert Hall in 2006 and a son-in-law, Paul Luttinen in 2008. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA, with the Rev. Dr. Karen Ballard, pastor of the Rome Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery, Wyalusing, PA. Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
