Nancy was born April 9, 1950, a daughter of the late Carlisle & Martha Snyder Teeter. She graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School a member of the class of 1968. Nancy was a hard working nurse’s assistant for over 19 years at the Dar-Way Elder Care in Estella. She was married to Eugene Burgess and later to Robert Barton who predeceased her. She resided in Overton most of her life until retiring to Sayre in 2008. She enjoyed taking care of her pet cats and taking care of her flowers. Surviving: two sons; Paul (Janet) Burgess and Scott (Dedra) Burgess of Sayre; a half-brother, Edwin (Ann Marie) Sick of Dushore, PA; six grandchildren and one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was predecease by a half-brother Arthur W. Sick Jr. of Dushore on December 6, 1997. Friends may call on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the P.
