Obituary
Alfred T Wachtendorf, age 77, of Terrytown, PA passed away on August 13, 2012 at home with his loving family at his side.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 2, 1934, a son of the late Alfred L. and Eleanore Huetger. Al attended Neshaminy High School, graduating in the class of 1953. Shortly after graduating he went to work for Patterson Parchment Paper Company, as a printer, where he worked until the company closed, and then worked for various other printing companies until retiring in 2000. He met the former Patricia Bond of Langhorne, PA, during their Sunday school classes; they were married on June 30, 1956, having recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.
He loved all sports, especially baseball, and enjoyed anything that involved being outdoors, his most recent favorite past time was watching the great wildlife on his mountain with his trail camera. He was a member of the Flight 93 National Memorial group, the Towanda Area Senior Citizens Club, and the Wyalusing Valley Senior Citizens Club where he served as vice-president, and the Bradford Sullivan Chapter #4423 of the AARP.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Homer, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA at 10:30 A.M.
