Ruger, age 88, of Warren Center, formerly of Terry Township, Bradford County, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Ken was born May 26, 1923 in New Milford, PA and his family moved to Sullivan County when he was very young. He was a son of the late Stanley W. & Sara Tiffany Ruger. He graduated from the Loyalsock Vo-tech High School in Estella, a member of the class of 1943. He lived in Terry Township until last year when he moved to Warren Center. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved all animals. He worked for a long time at the McDonough Manufacturing Company of Monroeton, PA retiring in 1988. Surviving: Friends and caregivers, Mark & Rebecca Eidson, of Warren Center; two brothers: Gerald Ruger of Rome, PA and Herbert Ruger of Coatesville, PA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Barry A Ruger in 1938, Duane Ruger in 1940, and Louis R. Ruger in 1998. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA with the Rev. Robert W. Brown, officiating. Interment will be in the Fairmont Cemetery, Forksville, PA.
