Troy was born October 24, 1980 in Passaic, NJ a son of George D. Baton Jr. and Linda Ann Hallabuk Baton. He attended Sullivan County Schools and has been employed in the forestry business for the past twelve years. He was formerly employed by Lewis Lumber Co, Spako Tree Service and was currently working for Asplundh Tree Expert Company for the past three years. Troy was a devoted father and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his children. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and driving his motorcycle. He also loved to cook and bake. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA. and will followed by as Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred with the Rev. Joseph J. Manarchuck, presiding. Interment will be in SS: Peter & Paul’s Byzantine Cemetery, Lopez, PA. Friends may call on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
