OBITUARY
March 3, 2012
Daniel W. Kithcart, age 93, of Laceyville, PA, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 03, 2012 with his loving family at his side.
Daniel was born on February 4, 1919 in Terrytown, PA a son of the late John C.M. & Sarah Gross Kithcart. He met and married Evelyn I. Woodruff on August 12, 1939; they recently just celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. Evelyn predeceased him on August 30, 2011.
Dan served in the Army in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations during WWII. After the War he worked for the railroad in Laceyville for a few years. He moved to Browntown and began operating the family dairy farm on Canyon Road. He sold the farm in 1968 and went to work for Penn Dot, from which he retired in 1985.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and making trips to Canada where he went Moose hunting. He also made many trips to Pulaski, NY where he fished for salmon.

Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters: Anna Farr, Grace Goodwin, Gladys Heeman and Lena Kithcart, Edna Kithcart and a brothers, John Kithcart, Arthur Kithcart.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA, with the Rev. Penney M. Rahm, officiating. Interment to follow in Wyalusing Cemetery, Wyalusing, PA.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Graveside Military Services will be accorded by members of Wyalusing Post #534 American Legion.
